The Duke of York was in Cambridge today to hear some early pitches from businesses hoping to make it through to the final of the Pitch@Palace 8.0.
Prince Andrew’s initiative for budding entrepreneurs has helped more than 400 businesses get off the ground, and today he saw more hopefuls take centre stage.
The event was held at the Entrepreneurship Centre at Cambridge Judge Business School.
Designed to support, enhance and give added value to start-ups and scale-up companies, Pitch@Palace is a perfect platform where entrepreneurs can meet like-minded people and network.
They can also learn from ideas that are already being made into a commercial success.
Winning pitches from similar events around the country will be invited to “Boot Camp”, and up to 15 of them will be invited to the grand final at St James’ Palace in November 2017.
